Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Work Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedule
• On-call/callback responsibilities required
• Floating assignments per unit needs
• Holiday and weekend coverage per unit requirements
• Provide care for wide variety of surgical patients across multiple specialties
• Work with specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Operate in Level 1 trauma center environment
• Utilize 2 DaVinci robots used by multi-services
• Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• New York state RN license required (NY license ONLY)
• Two years operating room experience required, Level 1 trauma preferred
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Preferred experience with specialty cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive), craniotomy procedures, and strong orthopedic background
