RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Function independently as RN circulator for complex adult cardiac cases
• Care for patients undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure procedures (VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants)
• Handle structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella)
• Participate in heart transplant procedures (experience preferred)
• Use multidisciplinary approach to care for patients of all ages
• New York RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Operating room experience in level 1 trauma center preferred
• Must be able to circulate in cardiac OR setting
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
