RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling options of 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 3x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback responsibilities required
• Charge nurse duties per unit needs
• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient procedural settings
• Work in 4 cardiac catheterization labs and 3 electrophysiology labs
• Assist with comprehensive pre and post procedural care in holding areas
• Collaborate with CVT staff focusing on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), moderate sedation training, dysrhythmia, and telemetry
• Must have 2 years of catheterization lab experience
• Must have experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Required experience in right heart and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
• Mechanical circulatory support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural heart experience required with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Critical care or cardiac experience required
• New York nursing license required
• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment preferred
• EP lab experience preferred
