Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM EST
• On-call responsibilities include 2-3 call shifts per month
• Holiday and callback coverage as needed per unit requirements
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Position patients appropriately, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC system and ensure proper image documentation
• Send images to PACS system correctly upon exam completion
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility environment
• Must have completion of formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification required
• New York State licensure required prior to start date
• Injection therapy certification required on NYS license at time of submission
• Two years of CT technologist experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Six months of Siemens scanner experience required
• One year of Epic experience highly desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Patient and compassionate disposition essential
• Must be a team player who can maintain cohesive working environment
