Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Work day/evening/night rotating shift schedule with on-call and callback requirements
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements
• Work holidays and weekends per unit needs
• Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple surgical specialties
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma procedures
• Work with 2 DaVinci robots used by multiple services
• Support transplant program involving liver, kidney, and heart transplants
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Two years operating room experience required, preferably in level 1 trauma center
• New York state RN license required (NY license ONLY)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Preferred surgical experience includes specialty cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive), craniotomy, and strong orthopedic background
