Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

SMH Level 4 RN OR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation - SMH : L4RN : OR RN

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with 10 or 12-hour shift options
• On-call requirements for weekends and nights
• Provide moderate sedation nursing care in the operating room
• Care for a wide variety of patients across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Work in a level 1 trauma center environment
• Operate with 2 DaVinci robots used by multi-services
• Support transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
• Circulate only - no scrubbing responsibilities
• New York RN license required (NY license only)
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Interventional radiology (IR) experience required
• Two years of OR experience in a level 1 trauma hospital preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
