Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM EST
• 2-3 on-call shifts per month required
• May work holidays, on-call, and callback shifts per unit needs
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting all components within EPIC
• Identify images and ensure proper transmission to PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility
• NYS licensure required prior to starting position
• Must have injection therapy certification on NYS license at time of submission
• Completion of formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• ARRT certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• 2 years of experience required with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Telemetry experience required
• 6 months Siemens Scanner experience required
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• 1 year Epic experience highly desired
• Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
• Patient and compassionate disposition required
• Team player who can maintain cohesive working environment
