RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10hr schedule) totaling 40 hours per week
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities per unit need
• Provide specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Perform biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide intra-procedure monitoring, and manage post-procedure recovery
• Handle PACU and extended stay (23-hour) recovery responsibilities
• Participate as essential member of critical embolization response team for trauma patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
• Work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring critical thinking and strong communication skills
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NYS RN License
• Must have telemetry experience and 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience
• Required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops in procedural areas
• Additional infection prevention measures required when needed
