RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in neuromusculoskeletal medical surgical unit
• Schedule includes day, evening, and night shifts with weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback requirements
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Provide competent care based on established standards under direction of Nurse Manager
• Assume expanded role responsibilities which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties
• Focus on clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research-based evidence practice
• New York State RN license required (only NY licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of medical surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience required
