Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in Interventional Spine unit with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Day shift position with 3-4 RNs and 1 Rad Tech per location
• Work with vital signs monitors, C-Arm Fluoroscopy, and lead aprons
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Must have IV start experience and knowledge of blood thinners/NSAIDs
• Assist with cervical and lumbar epidural injections, sacral iliac joint injections, hip injections, and medical branch blocks
• Required certifications: BCLS, RN license
• May float between two office locations (7 Vanderbilt Park Drive in Asheville and 2695 Hendersonville Rd. in Arden)
• Dress code: White scrub top with navy scrub pants OR navy scrub top with navy scrub pants
• Proficiency in patient assessments preferred
• Team-focused personality is ideal for this position
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Pros
Lots of other travelers, nice approachable management that are on the floor in scrubs to help not criticize, updated cerner launch point, staff helps other staff, security is able to protect staff, PD is at hospital
Cons
Charge is only available to help with traumas otherwise they sit at their desk, techs assign pts to ER rooms making very heavy patient loads with multiple traumas with other nurse assignments being very light, not enough policies to protect nurses from verbal and physical violence from patients

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
