Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on a 36-bed neurosciences telemetry unit located on the 6th floor
• Patient ratios: 5:1, 6:1 stretch day shift, 7:1 stretch night shift
• Work every other weekend
• Float to other medical surgical floors as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIH
• Neuroscience experience preferred
• Must be outgoing and self-motivated
• Typical procedures include Foley insertion and IV start
• Work with standard medical surgical equipment
• Electronic medical record system: Cerner
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• New staff reference book provided at start of contract
• Day shift staffing includes: 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Night shift staffing includes: 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC

The neurosciences department provides comprehensive care for patients requiring neurological monitoring and intervention, with a full complement of nursing staff and support personnel available around the clock.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
