RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with mixed level of care patients including medical surgical and step-down patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on level of care
• Handle short stay patients (less than 24 hour length of stay) with quick turnover
• Every other weekend required, no call responsibilities
• Float to other units as needed
• Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitor when telemetry monitoring is indicated
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Recent progressive care experience preferred
• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focused approach, kindness, compassion, and strong teamwork skills

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit located on the main campus D corridor. The facility serves as an inpatient overflow unit managing a mixed level of care for both medical surgical and step-down patients. The unit is staffed with experienced charge nurses, RNs, and CNAs working collaboratively to provide quality patient care with quick patient turnover and comprehensive telemetry monitoring capabilities.
