RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work on D2 progressive care unit with 20 beds handling mixed level of care patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 depending on level of care required
• Care for medical surgical and/or step-down patients with quick turnover
• Manage short stay patients with less than 24 hour length of stay
• Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitors when indicated
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Every other weekend required, no on-call responsibilities
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Recent progressive care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• May be required to float to other units as needed
• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white shoes
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and team collaboration
