RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with mixed level of care including medical surgical and step-down patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 dependent on level of care
• 20-bed unit with quick turnover and short stay patients (less than 24 hour length of stay)
• Required to float to other units as needed
• Every other weekend required, no call requirements
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitors when indicated
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Ideal candidate has positive attitude, patient experience focus, and works well as team player
