RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as a registered nurse on a progressive care unit with telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 stretch depending on level of care
• Care for mixed level patients including medical surgical and step-down patients
• Handle short stay patients with less than 24-hour length of stay and quick turnover
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
• Recent progressive care experience preferred
• Work with telemetry equipment with all patients hardwired to bedside monitors
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Must float to other units when needed
• Every other weekend required, no call responsibilities
• Dress code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white scrubs
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and teamwork skills
