RN Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s, 3rd shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (1 year of experience)
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Role Overview
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination
- Performs comprehensive assessments, documents findings, and responds to changes in patient condition
- Supports discharge planning and patient teaching
- Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities and maintains a healing, patient-centered environment
