RN - Labor & Delivery
Location
Louisville, Kentucky
Schedule
- Night shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Epic experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, reassessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients
- Educate patients and families
- Delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed staff
- Support quality improvement, teamwork, regulatory compliance, and discharge planning
- Participate in mentoring, precepting, and research-related practice improvement
