Operating Room RN
Location
- Lakewood Ranch, Florida

Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts
- Call required: 4–5 times per month, including at least one weekend day
- Weekday call runs from 1700 to 0630
- 30-minute callback time
- Day off after call if able
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- Robotics experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification
- Experience in specialties other than eyes, hearts, thoracic, and vascular
Role Summary
- Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures
- Support admissions to the operative suite
- Maintain aseptic technique
- Coordinate intraoperative patient care with the surgical team
- Serve as a liaison to patients, families, and the operating team
- Prepare the operating room and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
