Operating Room RN Job Summary
Location
- Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Variable shift times, mainly 10:45–11:15, with possible start times of 6:30–7:00 or 8:30–9:00
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 1 weekend shift per month
- 2 call shifts per month
- Holiday shift required if it falls within the contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- 1 year of Operating Room experience
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, rounds, and care coordination
- Support admission, transfer, discharge, and patient/family education activities
- Perform ongoing assessment, documentation, delegation, and response to changes in patient condition
- Participate in quality improvement activities and unit-based support of patient safety and care standards
