Cath Lab Tech

Summary
Operates radiographic equipment in the cath lab, assists during invasive procedures, and documents patient response to cath and EP procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kentucky
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- ARRT
- Associate's degree in Radiology Technology
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain patient history and perform physical assessments
- Complete time-out procedures and verify consent and H&P
- Maintain sterile technique during scrub assist duties
- Document patient progress, charges, and changes in the EMR
- Identify and document arrhythmias and respiratory dysfunction
- Perform pulse oximetry, cardiac monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, and related calculations
