Cardiac Sonographer
Overview
- Role: Cardiac Sonographer
- Location: Waltham, Massachusetts
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 08:00 - 16:00
Role Summary
- Independently performs comprehensive echocardiograms, including bubble studies and stress echo, in hospital-based and/or outpatient settings.
- Supports high-acuity diagnostic and clinical decision-making by acquiring high-quality diagnostic images and providing accurate preliminary findings in a timely manner.
- Requires knowledge of congenital anatomy, surgical repairs, and age-dependent physiology.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiac Sonographer (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- License/certificate verification and primary source verification of the professional license and/or certification, as required for the position
- Resume including the past 7 years of work experience; all work experience and education must include city and state
- 2 references within 4 years of submission, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
- MGB Skills Checklist completed within 1 year of submission

- Fit test within 365 days of start date and updated annually
- Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) attestation, if fit test is required for the skill
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine
