Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Night Shift position requiring CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting and a current OK or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Care for pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions in a Level I trauma environment
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Responsible for delivering direct nursing care to a range of pediatric cardiovascular patients
• Includes monitoring, medication administration, patient assessment, and assisting with diagnostic procedures
• Expected to interact professionally with families and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Must adhere to a 50 mile radius rule and local candidates are not eligible
• Night shift role requires effective teamwork and the ability to manage complex situations

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license (eNLC)
• Minimum of one year of CVICU nursing experience in a Level I trauma setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or higher preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency
