Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a TN or compact license and intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery (OB) unit of a hospital setting
• Responsible for providing care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Strictly for non-local candidates outside a 50-mile radius
• Care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages
• Follow current infection prevention and safety protocols
• Scrub color and dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the regular schedule
• No local candidates will be considered due to the 50-mile radius rule

Requirements

• Active RN license in TN or compact state
• Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required; Florida and Missouri require two
