Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with night shifts and weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Required to work every other weekend or two weekends per month
On-call required for 36 hours every 6 weeks
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in Labor & Delivery
Floating to other units required
Holiday time off is not accommodated for major holidays; any requests must be submitted on site
Participation in bi-weekly orientation is required
First-time travelers are eligible for auto offer consideration

Requirements

Active RN license valid in TN or a compact state
Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN, and NIHSS
Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing required
