Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for evening shifts at a Level III trauma acute care facility, requiring ARRT CT certification and experience with GE CT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital and Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds
• Role involves working in the CT department and floating between two facilities in CT and RI
• Uses GE CT equipment and the Epic EMR system
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 14:45 to 23:15
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed for the department
• Position requires floating between two hospital facilities in CT and RI
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved automatically by the facility
• Locals accepted at a different rate; 75-mile radius rule does not apply to this position
• Past permanent staff must be separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Scrubs provided according to facility requirements

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification required
• Experience with GE CT equipment required
• Ability to obtain state licenses for Connecticut and Rhode Island; license required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required, no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with medical or religious exemptions only
