Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring night shifts and advanced fetal monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the OB unit providing Labor & Delivery care
• Shift schedule is 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• Thirteen-week assignment
• Patient population includes women in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Responsibilities include supporting laboring patients, monitoring fetal well-being, assisting with deliveries, and postnatal care
• Team-oriented work environment
• Required to submit complete application, licensure verification, and copies of certifications for consideration
• No previous employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Advanced 9th Edition, required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide US SSN and date of birth for consideration
• Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted
• Professional reference required: one reference, except Florida and Missouri require two
