Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a travel assignment in New Orleans, LA.

Details

  • Hospital-based CT department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
  • Candidate is expected to float between the ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of the main campus
  • Uses GE CT equipment; GE experience is required
  • Charting is done in Epic; Epic experience is required
  • Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (5x8-hour day shifts)
  • Holiday coverage is required if a scheduled workday falls on a holiday

Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) required
  • ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience required
  • Proficiency with GE CT equipment required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • This position is located in a region commonly impacted by hurricanes; upon starting, the unit manager may assign travelers to an emergency team with an expectation to shelter in place or participate in storm relief efforts
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
  • All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
