Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Clinical Decision Unit position in Asheville, NC, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift position with hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Clinical Decision Unit setting within a hospital environment
• 13-week travel assignment

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in PCU or a related specialty
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• One professional reference is required (two references required if the candidate is from Florida or Missouri)
