Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with hospital experience and Siemens proficiency for an inpatient MRI unit.

Details

  • Inpatient MRI unit within a large acute care hospital setting
  • Evening 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
  • Scheduled shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Friday
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
  • Current BLS certification via AHA required
  • Siemens MRI equipment experience required
  • Hospital-based MRI experience required
  • Experience in a facility with 500+ beds required
  • Active MRI Tech license required if applicable
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic MRI of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies to provide radiologists with images needed for comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Orient physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists in MRI objectives, applications, and safety protocols
  • Assist nursing staff as needed, including witnessing medication waste and documenting in Pyxis
  • Reports to MRI Manager or Chief Imaging Technologist
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
