Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a diagnostic radiology position requiring ARRT certification, Maryland licensure, and hospital and trauma experience with both adult and pediatric X-ray imaging.
Details
- Diagnostic radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Patient population includes both adult and pediatric patients
- Procedures include standard, portable, and specialized X-ray exams using digital radiography (DR) technology
- OR and orthopedic imaging experience is a plus
- Night shifts, 12 hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- Active Maryland state license required if applicable
- BLS certification through AHA required
- Hospital and trauma experience required
- Experience with both adult and pediatric X-ray imaging required
- Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required
- Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform radiographic exams used in diagnosis and treatment
- Works under the general supervision of a Chief and Senior Technologist
- Local candidates are welcome to apply at the same rate
- OR and orthopedic imaging experience is considered a bonus
