Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring RCIS or RAD certification.

Details

• Works in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• On-call requirement includes a weekend rotation and 2–3 nights per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital setting
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (AA, BA, BS, BSN) or equivalent experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• RCIS or RAD certification required
• Active license required (no pending licensure); license required if applicable
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

• Applies prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment during cardiac and vascular procedures
• Adapts to multiple and changing clinical priorities in a fast-paced lab environment
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
