Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week outpatient radiology assignment requiring 2+ years of experience, active ARRT certification, and a California Fluoroscopy license.

Details

• Outpatient radiology and CT department at a Level III Trauma facility
• Common imaging studies include all standard X-ray and CT exams
• Charting performed in Cerner; DR PACS and Philips equipment used
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage may be required based on facility need
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Active ARRT (R) credential required; CT certification preferred
• Active California CRT (Radiologic Technology) license required if applicable
• Active California Fluoroscopy license required
• BLS certification required; no pending certifications accepted
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• A driver's license must be provided for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Perform X-ray and CT imaging across a broad range of standard diagnostic studies
• Radiology supervisor on-site; RT, pharmacy, and hospitalist/intensivist support available 24/7
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
