Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for overnight shifts at a Level II trauma center in Bay Shore, NY, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Fast-paced, 375-bed Level II trauma center and Gold Plus designated stroke facility
• Serves ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings with both adult and pediatric populations
• Equipment includes Siemens Somatom AS, Somatom Definition Edge, and Siemens 64/128 Definition CT scanners
• Overnight shift from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• NYS DOH Radiography license required if applicable
• NYS DOH Injection Certification required
• Only AHA-issued BLS certification is accepted
• Flexibility required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in current specialty are required for consideration
• Trauma experience preferred
• Cardiac CTA experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility may be considered as local candidates
• Travelers will be required to complete online modules prior to assignment start
• Grey/pewter scrubs required
• Candidates who have previously worked at any facility within this health system may be subject to an eligibility review process before being considered
