Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level II or III trauma experience and a full certification suite including TNCC.

Details

  • Evening shift, 3x12-hour shifts (15:00–03:00)
  • Emergency Department setting treating both adult and pediatric patients
  • High-volume ER environment (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits/day)
  • Level II or III trauma center experience required

Requirements

  • Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (must be willing to obtain prior to start if not already held)
  • Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a comparable-sized emergency department (40+ beds, 200+ daily visits)
  • Level II or III trauma center experience required
  • Recent ER travel experience within the past 6–8 months preferred
  • 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
  • The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions
  • Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
