Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care Level III trauma center in Connecticut, requiring ARRT-R certification and a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.
Details
- Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (shift times may vary based on department need)
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- On-call shifts as needed
- Charting via Epic (experience preferred)
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based X-Ray experience
- Current ARRT-R certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Connecticut state radiography license required; candidates with a pending license will be considered
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination exemptions are accepted for religious or medical reasons only
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved; any additional time off must be made up
- One reference is required for consideration
