Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position at an outpatient surgery center, with day shifts only and no call, weekends, or holidays required.

Details

Outpatient surgery center PACU setting
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
No on-call, no weekend, and no holiday requirements
Pediatric patient experience is strongly preferred
13-week contract

Requirements

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
PACU nursing experience required
2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

Pediatric PACU experience is strongly preferred
Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products, prior to arrival
RTO requests are limited to no more than 2–3 consecutive weekdays
