Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, specializing in heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures with call requirements.

Details

Hospital-based Operating Room setting
Specializes in heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures
10-hour day shifts (0800–1830), 4 days per week
Call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month at minimum, with potential for additional call based on departmental needs
Floating to other facilities may be required

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities include perioperative patient assessment, individualized plan of care development in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and patient/family education
Must demonstrate clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Accurate and thorough medical record documentation is expected
