Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgical service lines.

Details

• Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center hospital setting
• Operating Room unit with 815 licensed beds
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Broad surgical caseload including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma procedures
• Uses Cerner documentation system
• Variable scheduling with call required
• May float to other departments
• Scrubs provided by facility

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• 2+ years of RN experience required
• Skill level 3 or higher required in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgical service lines
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted), not expiring within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
