Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of CVICU experience and an active CO or Compact RN license
Details
- Located in the Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
- Both day and night shift positions available, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
- 12-week contract
- Charting performed in Epic EMR
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
- Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience required
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — must not expire prior to assignment start
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for cardiovascular ICU patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
- Monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two references required for consideration
