Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with 2+ years of experience to assist with cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular procedures at an acute care facility in Cedar Park, TX.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit at an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cumulative cath lab experience
• High school diploma with 2 years of experience, an Associate's or Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• One of the following credentials required: RCIS from CCI, Cardiographic Tech specializing in EP from CCI, or ARRT (Radiography, Vascular Interventional, Cardiac Interventional, or Cardiovascular Interventional)
• ACLS and PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system
• Duties include vitals monitoring (heart rate and rhythm), anticipating case changes and physician needs, maintaining strict sterile fields, and providing patient education on post-procedure care
