Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience and required ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in New Orleans, LA.
Details
- Work setting includes ED, inpatient, and outpatient environments within a large health system campus
- Candidate is expected to float between the ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics within walking distance
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Holiday coverage is required when a scheduled workday falls on a holiday
- Epic EMR experience required
- GE equipment experience required
Requirements
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with GE CT equipment required
- Minimum of 1 prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not accepted
- Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across multiple care settings including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient environments
- In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
