Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift contract at a short-term acute care Level III trauma center, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of hospital experience and proficiency with GE and Siemens equipment.

Details

• Works in the CT department of a 252-bed, short-term acute care Level III trauma center that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Required to float between two facilities: one in CT and one in RI
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed by the department
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of hospital-based CT experience required
• Current BLS required
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment required
• Must obtain licensure in both CT and RI; may begin assignment once the first license is issued while the second is pending — license required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Float coverage between two health system facilities across two states is expected
• Local CT Tech candidates are accepted; local rate may apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded from consideration
