Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and management/charge experience for a 13-week acute care contract.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Diagnostic Imaging department
• Patient population includes ER patients with general CT cases, virtual colonography, and gated procedures
• Caseload of approximately 10–20 scans per shift, with evenings being the busiest
• Facility uses 2 CT scanners: Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed
• EMR: Cerner; Imaging system: McKesson PACS
• Radiologist is not on-site 24/7; Nighthawk is utilized for overnight coverage
• 8-hour day shifts
• Holiday coverage follows the same schedule as weekends and is worked on a rotational basis
• May float within the Radiology department

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Management or charge experience is required for this position
• Active BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Active CA state license required; license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Perform general CT imaging including ER cases, virtual colonography, and gated procedures as needed
• Orientation consists of 3–4 shifts
• Teal scrubs required
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Local candidates are accepted
