Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification and NRP, with on-call responsibilities and every-other-weekend requirements.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with either a 3x12 or 4x12 weekly schedule available
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
- On-call requirement of 36 hours every 6 weeks
- Every other weekend (or 2 weekends per month) required
- Floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, NIHSS, and AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN-INT)
- Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule
- RTO during any holiday or holiday week cannot be accommodated — this includes Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and local school break periods; travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite
