Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 7 weekend shifts required per 8-week period
• 36 hours per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
• Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, therapy support, delegated medical functions, patient referrals, and clinical documentation per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Epic used for all clinical documentation
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• All AHA certifications must be current and valid through the start of the assignment
