Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital environment
• Schedule is 3x12-hour evening/night shifts with variable hours
• 36 hours per week
• 7 weekend shifts required per 8-week period
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, including health teaching, counseling, and treatment support
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
