Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an outpatient care setting in Ohio, requiring ARRT (CT) and (R) certifications and experience with Siemens CT scanners.

Details

• Outpatient care setting with a multi-modality department including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, X-Ray, and OR procedures
• Primary modality is CT using a Siemens Force CT scanner
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts with two options: Saturday/Sunday/Monday or Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Saturday and Sunday shifts run from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM; the Friday or Monday shift runs from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM

Requirements

• Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; coworker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform CT examinations, administer contrast, dose patients per protocol, and complete daily QA documentation
• Prepare and educate patients prior to CT procedures while maintaining patient safety and excellent customer service
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team to deliver timely, accurate imaging services
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of the facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and is limited to 7 days or fewer
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly upon booking — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet upon receipt
