Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and a prior travel assignment.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call required one weekend every 4–6 weeks; weekday call required once every other week, no additional weekend requirements
- May float to the cath lab holding area
- Charting system not specified
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER
- Moderate sedation administration experience required
- IV start experience required
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- No holiday time-off requests will be accepted
- Flu vaccine required
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
