Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT/XR Technologist for a free-standing ER radiology unit, requiring at least 1 year of current CT and Rad Tech experience.
Details
- Work in a free-standing emergency department radiology unit with 11 beds
- Unit staffed with 1 CT/XR technologist on day shift and 1 CT/XR technologist on night shift
- Mixed shift schedule including 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM shifts
- Typical procedures include ER CT and XR imaging
- Uses GE Revere Maxima, GE Definium Tempo, and GE AMX Navigate equipment
- Meditech EMR used for charting
- 13-week assignment
- Call requirement of 5, 24-hour call shifts per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year current experience as a CT Technologist and Rad Technologist
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience working as a Rad Tech in a free-standing ED preferred
- Prior knowledge of Meditech preferred
- CT Tech experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform ER CT and XR imaging procedures
- Work independently while collaborating closely with nurses and physicians
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered for this role
