Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment in a cardiac cath lab setting in Miami, FL.
Details
- 4-room cardiac cath lab unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Unit staff of 22, consisting of RNs and Techs, with a minimum of 3 staff members per room on day shift
- All GE procedure rooms
- Documentation systems include Meditech and MacLab
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloon procedures, and ENT lab cases
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call requirements: maximum of 15 days of call during critical periods, with a 4-member STEMI on-call team for nights
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- BLS and ACLS required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Must be proficient in scrubbing
- RCIS or ARRT preferred
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- Two professional references required for Florida placement
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Daily huddle calls with an emphasis on building relationships with the director, staff, and patients
- Surgical scrubs provided by the unit
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
